This is Ayiro's first production album to date in which ALL THE BEATS have SAMPLES in them. If you know Ayiro then you know he rarely samples...he's more of the type of producer to make something from scratch, such as J.Dilla, Quincy Jones, Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, etc. who he is inspired by. However, participating in various beat battles Ayiro has learned the art of sampling, moreso the art of chopping up samples to create something totally different.

As to why Ayiro decided to call this project "A.L.I.E.N.":

"well, I feel, kinda like a UFO, that people will gravitate towards the music on this project but at the same time will be unfamiliar as to WHO it is coming from. It's like me going to a entirely different level that's beyond me, beyond this world, maybe even this universe." - A.
